Board Responsibilities

Runningwater Draw RSVP is a federally legislated grant program organized in Plainview in 1973. RSVP provides volunteer opportunities for persons 55 years of age and older who reside in Floyd, Hale, and Lamb counties. Critical community needs are met through the efforts of the volunteers. There is no cost to join, and supplemental insurance is provided while volunteering. RSVP is sponsored by the City of Plainview and housed by Wayland Baptist University.

The RSVP Advisory Council support is critical for the success of the RSVP program. Council members have the responsibility to plan, make decisions, offer advice, and support the RSVP program. Advisory Council members plan and support recognition events and fund raisers.
